Personal and Gallery History
South Africa based artist Christiane Behrmann, first started exhibiting her works at home in Lyttelton, Centurion (then Verwoerdburg) and was an active and founding member of the local art society, where her works were frequently on display. On moving to Midrand (near Johannesburg) she was able to realise her dream of opening her own private art gallery in 1991. She has featured in a number of solo and group art exhibitions over the years.
She developed her own unique "Jester Button's" art course with 57 classes to enhance the soul story, and teach techniques that enhance creativity in order to balance the right and left brain. Re-Birthing through Art - the course uses several art techniques linked to each other together with meditation, to remove blockages, heal and transform experiences, alongside developing techniques to paint, draw or sculpt. Students of any level of proficiency as well as beginners learn to follow their inner guidance and creativity.
Her gallery also served as the venue for her spiritual work, where she offered life guidance readings, Spirit Guide Paintings, Past Life Regression and a variety of arts and crafts to use for spiritual cleansing.
In 2013 Christiane and her husband moved to the seaside town of Gordon's Bay, near Cape Town where she has been involved with the local art society and exhibited at select galleries. She offers viewing of her home gallery and private readings by appointment only.
